A thoughtful quote can say so much. Not surprisingly, writers often have wonderful quotes. Sometimes they give them directly and other times they come through the mouths of their beloved characters. Here are some of my favourites about learning, simple living and the wonder of the world:).

Isn’t it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive – it’s such an interesting world. It wouldn’t be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? – Anne of Green Gables ( by L.M. Montgomery)

Oh, I love the Winnie the Pooh quotes🙂.
Hi Liz. I agree. Once I got reading more of them, I had a hard time deciding which ones to include. Wise in his own way, Winnie the Pooh, lol. Thanks so much for your comment.
Great quotes! My favorite is, “The two most important days of your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” Mark Twain. Also by Mark Twain, I like: “If you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember anything.” So true!
Those are both wonderful quotes and yes, so true! Thanks for those:).
